Traditional Chimney Sweep
Using our traditional chimney sweep brushes we will fully seal the fireplace and use advanced vacuum technology to stop any soot or debris entering the room. Any debris will then be removed safely from the premises and disposed of.
Certificates issued
As an ICS Member we provide a clean and conscientious service and are able to offer advice on any chimney problems. when an ICS Member has swept and smoke tested your chimney you will be issued with a chimney safety certificate which is a necessary compliance for your house insurance.
Cowls fitted
Downdraft ? Rain coming in ? Lack of draw? Birds nesting in the chimney ? You need a chimney cowl. No matter what style of chimneys you have, we have a large selection of chimney cowl's to fit and cure your problem.
All Fireplace Types
We can deal with all these types of fireplace and chimney combinations including Inglenooks, Wood buring stoves, Multi-fuel stoves, Aga/solid fuel stoves and Gas fires.
Smoke testing
If there is doubt about the condition of a chimney, or an old chimney is to be put in use after a long period of being un-used, his advisable to have it smoke tested. The purpose of the smoke test is to discover if there are any major defects which can cause a leak of fumes through the chimney walls during normal operation.
We can arrange for a smoke test to be carried out by a qualified person using the procedure which is based on the test described in British Standard BS 6461 Part 1.
